A series of beats compiled in the summer of 2010.

"Originally in 2010 this was a folder I passed around to some friends who wanted to hear some new beats. I slapped the title 'The Afghani Struggle' on the folder, not giving it much thought. However, fast forward seven years, I still have some of those same friends telling me they still play these beats. That was when it dawned upon me: after seven years these joints in here stay relevant, and America continues to occupy Afghanistan (with plans to deploy more troops) like it did in 2010. After some observation, self-maturation, and reflection, I can apply some substance to what was once an arbitrary notion: While these beats remain untouched, the parallel is our current society (as a whole) still lacks a unified opposition against war. Until that message is sent and understood globally, I am uncertain of when the ‘Afghani Struggle’ will end.”
